Performance industry veteran, brand strategist enhance Hall’s leadership
BAKERSFIELD, Calif., April 5, 2022 – Performance industry veteran Judy Kean and brand and consumer marketing strategist Kristie Leader have been named to the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
Kean is partner in EPARTRADE (Electronic Performance and Racing Trade), a web-based, trade-only product sourcing platform connecting performance parts suppliers with racing business professionals world-wide.
With more than two decades in the hard-core performance industry, Kean previously was Senior Sales and Marketing Director at Performance Racing Industry (PRI), working alongside founder Steve Lewis. She has stayed attuned to the pulse of the industry, traveling to grassroots tracks, drag strips and NASCAR and IndyCar garages.
Leader, previously part of the motorsports branding and marketing team at Phoenix Raceway, is known for building large-scale event and promotional campaigns, implementing comprehensive growth strategies and creating impactful experiential events. She has been part of the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame team for nearly a decade.
Leader has received national recognition for her expertise by winning numerous national awards for marketing. She is an active community member, with groups such as Fighter Country Partnership affiliated with Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Ariz.
“These two charming ladies have been huge, behind-the-scenes supporters of the Hall of Fame,” said Ken Clapp, Chairman and CEO of the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame. “We are extremely pleased to have them become an active part of the Board team.”
The six-member Class of 2022 – the hall’s 19th – will be enshrined Thursday, June 9, during the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame’s induction gala, presented by World Wide Technology Raceway at Sonoma Raceway’s new VIP/Hospitality complex which circles the road course’s iconic Turn 11. Six Heritage inductees also will be enshrined and the 2ndAnnual Kickin’ Doorz Down Philanthropist of the Year by 51FIFTY will be presented.
The event opens a packed weekend of racing at Sonoma Raceway, which includes the NASCAR Cup Series, ARCA Menards Series West and the return of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

About the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame:
The West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame was conceived in 2001 as a means of recognizing significant contributors and contributions to the sport of stock car/motorsports competition. The mission of the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame is to preserve history and heritage of the key role west coast stock car and motorsports figures have played in the sport’s development and continuation and to recognize, through annual enshrinement, of outstanding individuals and groups within the sport such as, but not limited to, designers, engineers, mechanics, drivers, race track owners, promoters, publicists and members of the motorsports media.
The Hall is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, dedicated to supporting a variety of organizations and groups from coast to coast. Since 2017, the Hall has raised more than $600,000 for youth, health and safety, hospitals, animal rescue and other charitable causes.
