West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame presents, sponsors July 4 and 6 events
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (July 1, 2024) – NASCAR’s ARCA Menards Series West and the West Coast Stock Car/ Motorsports Hall of Fame jointly will celebrate the Independence Day weekend with a pair of events at Southern California’s famed Irwindale Speedway.
The NAPA 150 presented by the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports is set for a green flag at 7 p.m. PDT/10 p.m. EDT on July 4. The 150-lap/75 mile race will be followed on July 6 by the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame 150 presented by NAPA, 7:05 p.m. PDT/10:05 p.m. EDT.

Irwindale Speedway has announced Grand Marshals for each event. Ken Clapp, West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame Chairman and CEO will be honored on July 4. Jim Williams, the retired president of Golden State Foods and Class of 2015 inductee into the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame, is the July 6 honoree.
“We are gratified that Irwindale Speedway’s Tim Huddleston has given our organization its charities to be seen by thousands of race fans during our Nation’s birthday,” said Clapp. “Jim, a longtime friend of racing in Southern California is pleased as well.”
The twin Irwindale events are races five and six of the 2024 NASCAR’s ARCA Menards Series West schedule. Tyler Reif of Las Vegas holds an 11-point lead over Newport Beach, Calif.’s Sean Hingorani entering the Southern California stops.
About the West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame:
The West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame was conceived in 2001 as a means of recognizing significant contributors and contributions to the sport of stock car/motorsports competition.
